M Edit 2000 M Language programming environments generally do
not include a GUI routine editor, with the notable exception of Caché
Studio! M Edit 2000 is a Windows MDI-style editor based on Vista's
Remote Procedure Call Broker. Multiple routines from the same
namespace (UCI) may be edited concurrently. The editor has been
tested with MSM, DSM, Caché
and GT.M.
Mimimum requirements. Computer with Windows operating system (client), and M Language environment (server) with Vista RPC Broker installed. Client and server may be the same or different computers.
M Global Utilities This Vista RPC Broker application supports
global listing and editing functions, and is a little-bit Fileman
aware! It has been tested with Caché and GT.M / Vista.
Mimimum requirements. Computer with Windows operating system (client), and M Language environment (server) with Vista RPC Broker installed. Client and server may be the same or different computers.
Vista Pyramid This Delphi project began as a gentle spoof of
the Caché cube. Then with the addition of a few utilities the
program turned interesting. The pyramid is a tray icon and popup menu
to which RPC Broker-based routine and global utilities may be
attached as helper applications. Your favorite Telnet client may also
be invoked from the pyramid. For a more detailed explanation view the
draft documentation.
Delphi string unit LString.dcu contains a collection of
functions implementing most M Language string intrinsic functions.
Functions are overloaded to provide the 1, 2, 3, etc. parameter forms
of the corresponding M functions. For example, mPiece (M $piece)
includes the following forms:

LString.dcu uses the Vista RPC Broker MFUNSTR unit's Piece and Translate functions. MFUNSTR.dcu is included in the zip for convenience.
Pentominoes Plus! This program plays a variant of the game
invented by Professor Solomon Golomb, and introduced by Martin
Gardner in Scientific American, October 1965. The program
supports two-player mode, as well as player versus computer. If
Pentominoes is too easy, try Hexominoes, the order-6 game.
Minimum requirements. Computer with Windows operating system and screen display resolution of at least 800 x 600 pixels. Sound effects require sound hardware.
Installation note. Run setup.exe to install Pentominoes Plus! The program is named Polyomino.exe.
